Becoming a song writer wasn't easy... I was my own hurdle for a very long time. Songwriting became my shield when it should have been a platform that I could shine on. I leaned into these writings after surviving a stoke in 2016. I learned about myself again through my own words and I rebuilt my life to the beat of a new song every day; until I found a new normal. Writing became my life vest however, I never saw a space for myself in a world full of talent until I started reading my own words and forming them into songs. These songs took me through a healing journey that gave me the courage to form dreams I never thought possible. Today I host a weekly residency at a local pub. The seats fill up with new personalities singing MY SONGS back to me! This road has not been easy but it's all lead me right here; right where I'm supposed to be.
I'm ready to share my journey with you… in a public space where I'm not bound, guarded, or barred by media politics.
